The ultimate summer food, BBQ Burger! As my personal preference are sliders over the traditional big patty. What makes this experience even better is if you can cook them over a hot lump coal BBQ. Cooking is faster and the smell….yum!
Regretfully the club I’m at only supplies propane BBQ, which is a terrible way to cook. So believe it or not on the boat I have no problems doing the burgers on a hot pan.
For those that are new to making sliders, well your topping will literally slide off of them. 🙂 So it’s really important that you make your patty full of flavour and keep it juicy so that you don’t need much for toppings.
TOPPINGS THAT WORK FOR SLIDERS:
- Sliced cheese on top
- Mushrooms (These are hard to keep on)
- Sautéed Onions
- Bacon strips
