This is actually Cottage Pie. It’s one of those technical differences between lamb vs. beef.  This by far is my daughters #1 comfort food.  This is almost a food group on it’s own if you think about it.

Instructions
  1. In hot frying pan add some oil
  2. Put in meat don’t break up into little pieces. Leave larger chunks. Let it cook to caramelize.
  3. Cook and set aside.
  4. In same pan add (onions, carrots, salt & pepper, rosemary, thyme) Cook for about 10 min to soften and colour.
  5. Add Tomato paste and cook for 2 min.
  6. 1/2 cup of beer. Drink the other half. 😛
  7. Cook out for 2 min.
  8. Add Garlic.
  9. Add Meat Mince.
  10. Add Worcestershire Sauce.
  11. Cook for 2 min.
  12. Add Flour.
  13. Cook for 2-3 min.
  14. Add peas.
  15. Put in Fridge
  16. Boil potatoes and mash. Add egg yolk. Add optional parmesan cheese.
  17. Put in dish, layer with potatoes. Layer with cheddar cheese. Salt and Pepper.
  18. 375 F – 200C for 25-30 min
