The minimum of marinating time is 2 hours.  The right thing to do is marinade overnight or up to 24 hours for the most intense flavour.

  • Marinating time varies in the intensity of flavour desired.
  • Meat can be marinated at room temperature for 2 hours or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.  Remember like any meat bring to room temperature before cooking.
  • Meat being tenderized with an acidic marinade can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.
